2007-08-26 [Morningstar Rising]: yes I have, but seems right now nothing is working. Yesterday I heard my niece say what, what, she opened her bed room door and asked me why I was calling her. I told her I was not calling her, she nearly freaked on me. LOL Later that night her man, who was not standing 10 feet away from me, turned and said, 'what did you say'. I shook my head and told him I did not say anything. He looked at me with that look that said, 'you kidding right', I just shook my head at him and smiled. 

2007-08-27 [TheRogue]: take a digital temperature guage and check the ambient temperature.. later on when you know nobody will be at work, set up a voice recorder in each room and check that as well. :) Unless the presence you feel is bad, you could probably just start with that stuff. Don't tell anyone you are doing this, and make sure nobody is going to be at the home. Eliminate as much of the human factor as you can.

2007-08-27 [Mordigen]: even if what you are feeling isnt necessarily bad--if it is bothering you, or making you feel uncomfortable you can try little things to try to ease it or get rid of it -- more times than not, spirits or entities are drawn to a location becayse they dont realize ther are dead, or because they have emotional attachment to the location -- in these cases, if you try speaking firmly and bluntly out loud to it, it usually allows the spirit/entity to decipate and leave you be. Try telling it to leave you be, and explain plainly that this is your place now, it is gone and it needs to move on. Usually, this helps --- though it could just be something simple playing on your mind, but if you truely feel like something is there, you can try these and see if it helps.

2007-09-05 [Morningstar Rising]: Thanks guys, but I should let you know I have heard them all of my life. They do not scare me, just bug the crap out of me sometimes. They can be annoying and bothersome, but all most of them need is reassurance that someone knows they are there. I always light a candle for them and try to guide them to the light sort to speak. Now my niece that is another matter, she is scared of them, and only feels safe if I am there. LOL I have told her that what is visiting her home is nothing bad, just lost souls looking for a little comfort.

2007-09-05 [Mordigen]: ok, this may be on a bit of a supersticion, myth and religious note -- from my experience it works, so I'm going to throw it out there for you guys to consider if you choose too ---- Gargoyles. By mythology, and a lot of pagan beliefs, gargoyles are guards and protectors between the living and the dead -- they are suppose to ward off evil spirits, and help guide the dead to heaven or to hell, and its suppose to be like the Guide down the River Styx, as to why some culture put coins over the eyes - your suppose to reward them for thanks of helping you, so...fromm my experience, if you get a gargoyle statue, and offer it a simple coin, like a nickle, a day, it helps tremendously.....

but like i said, thats on a very supersticious and religious aspect, not scientific at all. But for those who believe that kind of thing, you can give it try if youd like

But Derek, yes I was taken in by him (I was 12!!) but then growing up and watching Most Haunted more often I was like "wtf this can't be right". And I know many people on here will laugh at Most Haunted, but even if it's not very good for getting paranormal things on camera it's still nice to watch. Apparently they sacked him because of it, and now he has his own show o.O

Talking to spirits, I haven't done it, but I have had them in my face. I think it is possible to read energies, catch emotional signals from people and read from there, I don't see how a spiritual entity could have a thought process though... but there is so much we don't understand.

Blue is pretty normal, what I see most often when I do it, and I see it round everything, but I have see orange, usually around an area that is sore i.e my teachers throat, my nanas legs.

Meh... After a close encounter with a shadow ghost when I was 2, I think I've subconsciously blocked out a lot of my ability to communicate. I can sense them and occasionally see them but that's about it. I've had them communicate through dreams though but again, I suffered a childhood trauma that resulted in me having to be put on ridilin (a mild sedative) so I would sleep and I think that affected my ability to remember a lot of my dreams. *sighs* Sometimes I wish I was more aware of them and other times, when I remember the experiences I have had, I'm kinda glad I'm not. XD

2007-10-22 [Elisha Kelly]: I think the most strange --- I started to say this earlier, was earlier this year, I was visited at night, by a man and a woman, the man touched my stomach and (don't laugh --- it's a little embarrassing) it made my stomach tingly and was a little erotic in sensation :/ the woman was to my side, and the man was between myself an Mr man. The next day I read about a double murder, and I realised it was them. I also knew where they would find the bodies, how they had been killed and that there killer was family, all came out later in the week to be accurate, but this is the only ever time I have experienced this.

My husband is empathic - he can sense emotions in people - but it isn't something he talks much about. In fact he finds it more of a hindrance at times because he's always being affected by the emotions around him. He's learned to block a lot of it out now but it still gets to him at time. Apparently I'm one of the only people he can't read at all at times and I think being able to do that also blocks me from attracting the attention of other entities. *nods*

I think the freakiest thing like that was when a boy I went to school with since kindergarten was killed when he was 17 or 18 in a car wreck. A few days later I dreamt I was at church (we went to a catholic grade school) and met him outside. I asked him point blank if he was dead and he said yes. He wanted me to tell his mom and sister that he was ok and that was it. I never told them though since I didn't know them and didn't know how they'd feel about some strange kid who went to school with him that she had a dream about him and that he said he was ok. O_o

2007-10-22 [Yuriona]: I have a lot of dreams where I'm me inside another person. Not like me pretending to be someone else like an actor but I am that person and still myself. I think the worst one of those was I was a doctor in league with some sort of crooked contractors working on the hospital where I worked. I had a change of heart and went to the cops as an informant but the gang found out and executed me. I remember kneeling on the ground looking into the barrel of the gun and just waiting for the bang. I knew I was about to die and all I could do was wait for it. Thank GOD I woke up before he fired... O_o I've never had a dream like that though. Eek.

I think that's what it is. I've had dreams with my dead grandma visiting me too but she's actually visited my sister in the waking world.

I am never visited in my sleep, but I dream too vivid, and it's very emotional, like I'll wake up crying, but it's because I repress emotions in my waking hours (except when I have pms, then it's like ww3 around here) and that excess emotion comes out in my dreams :P

2007-10-22 [Elisha Kelly]: I never do :D it's always me, I have a lot of angsty dreams. I once had one where I stumbled across this gang of teenagers --- all around my age at that time, it was at a house. And I didn't want to be seen, I was hiding in the bushes below the verandah. And one of them leaned back in his cahir, and something made him look my way. He saw me... so I up and ran, and they gave chase... it was one of those dreams where no matter how hard you try you just can't run fast, it's like running through water or something... sometimes my will prevailed and I ran faster, but mostly I couldn't... I came to this park I knew, but I couldn't go any further, I collapsed on the pavement crying... kinda giving up, and this guy, the one who saw me stopped, and he helped me.

I have actually dreamed of this dude a few times since then... it's weird, medium height and build, dark hair... very pale skin. :P

but the scariest thing I have ever had happened, and I still don't know whether it was a dream or not, at the time I didn't think it was... was that I awoke to a strange pulling sensation on my neck... like my energy or essence was being sucked out through this tingly hot spot on my neck... I was freakin out a bit, and I don't know if my eyes where open or not, and then I felt that I was being dragged backwards, out of myself and the bed, thats when I started to fight the sensation, I envisioned myself shotting at the thing... and then the sensation went away... i was more alert then, and realised that something heavy was still resting on my neck... I reached up and grabbed it, and realised it was my daughters hand... she was asleep in front of me, with her hand flung onto my neck... it was so bizarre, mainly because I could have sworn I was awake. That was at my old house. My new house has a great energy, not ghosts, very empty :D

anyway about a month ago I was in bed, and awoke to a strange tingly sensation around my head, it was coming in waves, from back to front, sweeping almost, it would go away for a moment then come back... most unpleasant, I fought the sensation, envisioning a white light emanating from myself, then went back to sleep :P but it was a horrible sensation, I did wonder at the time if I was perhaps having a stroke or something, but I woke up fine the next day.

2007-11-01 [moonscale]: A friend of mine told me that he has seen the same person in many of his dreams throughout his life. Its a girl of his age, and she has grown up at the same rate he has. He told me that she recently dyed her hair. He has no idea who she is and has never met her in real life, but he is feels she is real. He has even seen the girls mother on occasion. It was very strange. He belives there may be an actual girl somewhere in the world who he is for some reason in contact with through their dreams but he is not certain. Its really completely random.

2007-11-13 [Morningstar Rising]: I went to the cemetery on Halloween night with my niece and brother-in-law. I took loads of pictures and was surpised with all the orbs I caught. I am currently uploading them to my files and will make a wiki, when it is done, I will post it for all to see.

2007-11-16 [Yuriona]: I've known I was going to die in a dream. O_o I actually reached that moment where I knew it was the end and there was nothing that could be done to stop it. It was a very terrifying and strangely peaceful experience.

2007-11-16 [Yuriona]: Not for me. The only odd thing was that I wasn't me in the dream but me looking out from someone else's eyes. It happens to me quite a bit actually. It did help me conquer my fear of death strangely enough.

2007-11-16 [Thistlewood]: I had a dream similar to that , I died in the dream and my friends were gathered around my coffin talking. I couldn't see anything only hear them.

2007-11-16 [Yuriona]: I am very rarely myself in dreams but when I am, they're usually oriented around my immediate family (dad, brother mostly) but death is rarely involved now.

2007-11-16 [Thistlewood]: I had that dream a long time ago. (high school) I have dreams where I'm myself, at first, then it changes to me watching myself. I rarely have dreams where I'm someone else.
